1. To enhance the professional social work talent in the county and assist graduates from social work-related programs in            securing employment, the recruitment qualifications are as follows:

(1) Bachelor's degree or higher in social work-related fields with qualifications for the social worker examination.

(2) Protective social workers must have at least 1 year of direct social welfare service experience.

(3) For detailed qualifications for related supervisory positions, please contact the department’s business window.

2. The welfare measures for social workers (or social work professionals) in our department are as follows:

(1) Enjoy labor insurance, health insurance, retirement contributions, and year-end bonuses.

(2) Non-residents of the county without property in the county can apply for a single-room apartment at the Taitung County Labor Recreation Center (monthly rent NT$1,220).

(3) Social workers in remote areas such as the South Link Line, Valley Line, and Coast Line can receive housing subsidies (NT$5,000/month) or transportation subsidies (up to NT$3,000/month).

(4) Comprehensive professional education and training, promotion systems, and health check subsidies every 2 years (up to NT$7,000).

(5) Contract social workers receive a NT$16,000 annual subsidy for the National Travel Card.

(6) Additional support: psychological counseling, legal assistance, employee insurance, social worker group injury insurance, membership and annual fees for the social workers’ association (membership fee NT$500, annual fee NT$1,000), stress relief activities, and personal safety measures.
