1. Qualifications:
- Current student at a Ministry of Education-recognized college or university; administrative experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiar with Google Meet for video conferencing.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, with strong service and communication skills.
- Ability to assist with office computer, internet, and online management platform issues is a plus.
- Preference for candidates available long-term (at least 1 academic year), but not limited to this. Students with fewer course credits or graduate students working on their thesis are encouraged to apply.
- International students must have a valid residence permit and work permit copies.
2. Job Responsibilities: Assist with customer service tasks related to the English distance learning program, including:
- Familiarity with the distance learning buddy manual and customer service procedures.
- Listening and quickly responding to buddy/school inquiries.
- Resolving questions from buddies/schools: clarifying reasons for class absences, guiding operations, and providing consultation services.
- Recording feedback from buddies/schools and sharing personal insights.
- Committing to follow up on matters raised by buddies/schools, including filling out related forms.
- Assisting with other ad hoc tasks assigned by the project office.
3. Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), from 4 PM to 8 PM, for 4 hours each day. Shifts are scheduled, with a minimum of 4 hours per week; candidates available for more hours will be given priority.
4. Compensation:
- Pay according to the Ministry of Labor's announced hourly minimum wage, including labor insurance and retirement benefits, with dinner provided.
5. Work Location:
- Based on project needs, at the NTNU English Department's Distance Learning Program Office (No. 201, Xizang Road, Wanhua District, Taipei City, inside Wanhua Junior High School).
6. Employment Period:
- Start date will be determined by the university. There is a three-month probation period, during which pay will be based on actual hours worked. Upon passing the evaluation after the probation, candidates with good performance may be re-hired for the duration of the project.
