National Taiwan Normal University is hiring 3 part-time student workers for the "2030 Bilingual Policy - Student English Proficiency Assessment Program" aimed at enhancing English skills in remote areas through digital teaching.
1. Qualifications:
- Current student at a Ministry of Education-recognized college or university; administrative work experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Responsible, detail-oriented, with strong service and communication skills.
- Ability to assist with office computer, internet, and online management platform issues is a plus.
- Preference for candidates available long-term (at least 1 year); students with fewer course credits or graduate students focusing on their thesis are encouraged to apply.
- Night school students are welcome; those under 18 must provide a consent form from a legal guardian.
- International students must have valid copies of their residence and work permits.
2. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks for the project, including:
- Proofreading project documents and teaching videos.
- Processing project budget reimbursements.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for COVID-19 prevention.
- Delivering and collecting documents between the main campus and other locations.
- Providing telephone customer service and handling other ad hoc tasks.
3.Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, with morning shifts from 08:30 to 12:30 and afternoon shifts from 13:30 to 17:30. There is a lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30.
- Shifts will be scheduled, with a minimum of 4 hours per week; those who can work more hours will be given priority.
4. Compensation:
- Paid according to the Ministry of Labor's announced minimum wage, including labor insurance and pension.
5. Location:
- The position will be based in the NTNU English Department's Distance Learning Project Office (No. 201, Xizang Rd., Wanhua District, Taipei).
6. Employment Period:
- Start date will be determined by the university, with a three-month probation period. Pay during this period will be based on actual hours worked. Successful candidates may be offered continued employment based on performance and project needs.
