Description:

1. Based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' letter No. 1149300109 dated February 13, 2025.

2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is implementing this program to increase opportunities for Taiwanese youth to engage with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and gain practical experience, aiming to cultivate talent for international NGO affairs. The program details are as follows:
(1) Selection quota: 3-5 participants.
(2) Eligibility:

  1. Must be a Taiwanese citizen, aged between 18 and 35.
  2. Must be a current student in a domestic university (preferably with international participation or previous NGO internship experience), and have a recommendation letter from the school (the recommender cannot be a member of the evaluation committee for this program).
  3. Must have received approval for an internship from the INGO and obtained a confirmation letter.
  4. Must have fluent proficiency in English or the communication language required by the INGO, with supporting language certification documents.
  5. Cannot simultaneously receive subsidies from other government agencies.
  6. Priority will be given to those with international exchange or NGO internship experience, or those who have participated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' "NGO International Affairs Talent Training Program" or "International Youth Ambassador Exchange Program."

(3) Subsidy amount: The subsidy will cover 60% of the round-trip economy class airfare on the most direct route to the internship location, visa fees, and basic insurance fees, reimbursed upon submission of proof. Additionally, a monthly living allowance for a two-month internship period, with a total subsidy limit of up to NT$200,000.
(4) Application deadline: From now until April 30 of this year.
