National Quemoy University Outstanding Alumni Selection Guidelines (3rd Edition, 2025 Academic Year)

 

Recognition Categories and Selection Criteria
All graduates (or former students) of the day division and continuing education division of all departments, programs, or classes of the university who identify with the alma mater and have made concrete contributions or achievements in the following areas, and have no criminal record in the past five years, may be recommended as candidates.

1. Contribution to Alma Mater: Individuals who have made special contributions to the university’s teaching, services, technological innovation, donations for education, or overall development.

2. Social Service: Individuals engaged in various social service work who have demonstrated outstanding performance or contributions.

3. Other: Individuals nominated by the committee who do not fall into the above categories but have made special contributions.

 

Recommendation Methods

1. Recommendation by the Alumni Association or individual alumni chapters.

2. Recommendation approved by the department (or program) affairs meeting.

3. Joint recommendation signed by five or more faculty and staff of the university.

4. Recommendation by the head of the nominee’s affiliated organization.

5. Joint recommendation signed by ten or more alumni.

Please deliver in person or by mail to the Career Counseling & Alumni Service Center of the university by 12:00 PM on September 18, 2025 (Thursday).

Preliminary Review Submission Materials

口One original copy and a Word electronic file of the 2025 Outstanding Alumni Recommendation Form

口Copy of the nominee’s National Quemoy University graduation certificate

口Copy of the nominee’s highest academic degree certificate

口Supporting documents of the nominee’s outstanding achievements (generally within 20 pages)

口Police criminal record certificate (no criminal record in the past five years)

口Personal data consent form

(All materials should be bound in A4 size)

 

Recognition Method
Outstanding alumni will be publicly honored at the annual University Anniversary Ceremony and awarded a plaque (tentatively scheduled for the morning of November 4).
