1. This program is based on Hualien County’s 2025 Public Sector Summer Internship Plan for university students.

2. The program aims to help youth understand government operations, job roles, organizational culture, and public policy processes while still in school. It encourages participation in public affairs, learning government mechanisms, and planning future careers. Opportunities are provided specifically for students registered in Hualien County.

3. The target participants for this programs are as follows:

(1) Registered in this county: Must have been registered for more than 4 months, calculated before April 1, 114.

(2) Students enrolled in domestic univeristies or colleges above the first year, and graduate students moving from the first to second year:

1. Universities, including 4-year technical colleges, must be students above first year.

2. 2-year technical colleges or 2-year junior colleges (first-year students advancing to second year).

3. Five-year junior colleges must be students in the fourth year or above (fourth-year students advancing to fifth year). 

4. Graduate students advancing from the first to second year.

(3) Not eligible for this program:

1. University (or college) students who have extended their study period.

2. Newly admitted students to universities or colleges.

3. Current-year graduates.

4. Night school students. 

5. Students of correspondence technical colleges or correspondence universities.

6. Students enrolled in in-service or weekend programs.

7. Those who have already participated in the county's 106th and 113th annual public sector summer work-study programs for university youth (including those who left midway) will not be re-admitted.
