Hsu Yuan-I, also known as Fred (Chef Fred), is a Taiwanese chef, YouTuber, cooking show host, and private restaurant owner.

He studied business in school, but became tired of the monotonous office life. Determined to start anew, he returned to student life and went to Le Cordon Bleu in France to study culinary arts, beginning his chef career accompanied by ingredients. Fred’s cooking style is free and unrestrained; he emphasizes that cooking should not be limited by menus or recipes but should, like life, be created spontaneously and constantly challenge traditional methods.
