Ministry of Education Youth Development Administration: 2026 University Career Counseling Seed Teacher Training – Apply via the Youth Career Platform before the deadline

  1. To enhance the career counseling knowledge of university faculty and staff and to assist students in career development, this Administration has commissioned CTBC University of Technology to conduct the aforementioned training. A total of 7 sessions will be held from May to September 2026 (see attached guidelines).

  2. Course planning:
    (1) Introductory Workshop on the Use of Career Counseling Materials: Helps participants understand the structure and three main themes of the materials, and shares experiences in using them to offer general career courses or integrate them into professional courses.
    (2) Advanced Workshop on the Use of Career Counseling Materials: Conducted through group collaboration, incorporating industry trends and multicultural contexts to update materials, develop quality lesson plans, and strengthen students’ career development abilities.

  3. Registration procedures:
    (1) Online registration: Please visit the Youth Career Counseling Information Platform (🔗https://mycareer.yda.gov.tw) under the “Event Registration” section.
    (2) Registration period: Deadlines for each session will be announced on the platform.
    (3) Selection method: 45–55 participants for introductory workshops; 36–42 participants for advanced workshops.

  4. According to the 2026 University Career Counseling Subsidy Program guidelines of this Administration, institutions receiving subsidies must assign at least one teacher to participate in this training.
