【Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education】2026 National College Career Counseling Student Reflection Competition – “Next Step”

 

 

The Youth Development Administration (YDA), Ministry of Education is organizing the “2026 National College Career Counseling Student Reflection Competition – Next Step”. Students are encouraged to submit their work and share their career exploration experiences.

The competition aims to encourage students to actively participate in career counseling courses and activities offered by colleges and universities, reflect on their career exploration, planning, and development, and put what they have learned into practice. Students are invited to share their experiences, insights, and reflections, inspiring more young people to explore diverse career paths and work toward their career goals.

I. Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be 30 years old or younger
  • Be currently enrolled in a college or university in Taiwan, including students in Year 4 or above of five-year junior colleges
  • Have participated in career counseling courses or activities organized by their own institution or other colleges/universities during their period of enrollment
  • Participate either individually or as a team, depending on the category

II. Submission Period

April 2–June 15, 2026

III. Competition Categories

1. Graphic & Text Category – Individual Entries Only

  • Entries must include graphic layout/design, a title, written content, and photographs.
  • Maximum length: 3 A4 pages
  • Recommended maximum written content: 1,200 Chinese characters
  • Maximum of 4 activity photos

2. Video Category – Individual or Team Entries

  • Teams may consist of up to 5 members, including the team leader.
  • Each team must designate one team leader as the representative.
  • Videos must include background music and subtitles, with the title displayed at the beginning.
  • Video length: 2–5 minutes
  • Any type or style is welcome, including short films, animation, documentaries, music videos, and other creative formats.

IV. Awards

All award recipients will receive a certificate.

Graphic & Text Category

  • 1st Prize: 1 winner – NT$15,000
  • 2nd Prize: 1 winner – NT$10,000
  • 3rd Prize: 1 winner – NT$5,000
  • Honorable Mentions: Several winners – NT$2,500 each

Video Category

  • 1st Prize: 1 team – NT$30,000
  • 2nd Prize: 1 team – NT$20,000
  • 3rd Prize: 1 team – NT$10,000
  • Honorable Mentions: Several teams – NT$5,000 each
  • Online Popularity Award: 1 team – NT$5,000
