The Labor Force Development Agency, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Branch, has released the recruitment brochure for its 2024 pre-employment training program.

Training Programs Overview: In response to industry talent needs, the branch offers a variety of vocational training courses in eight key sectors: mechanical engineering, information technology, logistics, construction, energy, tourism and leisure, creative design, and electromechanical services. These programs are designed to help young people and the unemployed improve their skills and successfully enter the workforce.

Quality Training and Job Support: As a TTQS Gold Award unit, the branch provides high-quality instruction, innovative courses, and state-of-the-art training facilities. All training is free, and participants will receive comprehensive academic and technical training. Before course completion, trainees will also be guided to take relevant certification exams and participate in job recruitment activities with partnering companies to help them secure employment quickly.

Eligibility for Enrollment: Youth aged 15 and above with a willingness to work but lacking sufficient skills (without labor insurance, no employer or business owner status, no self-employed status, and not covered by industry-specific unions or associations), and who are genuinely unemployed. Additionally, accommodations are provided for distant participants, including safe and hygienic meals, as well as recreational facilities like basketball courts, libraries, and lounges.

Eligibility for Living Allowance: Individuals who qualify for employment insurance due to involuntary resignation, or those meeting specific criteria under employment promotion regulations, such as single-income households, middle-aged or elderly individuals, people with disabilities, indigenous groups, low- or middle-income households, long-term unemployed, women returning to the workforce, victims of domestic violence or sexual assault, rehabilitated individuals, new immigrants, youth aged 15–18 who are not in school or employment, or domestic labor accident victims.
