【Internship Position】Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (Exhibition Department, Research and Development Department, Marketing Planning and Social Resources Department, Collections Department, Operations Management Department (Accounting Office), Education and Public Services Department A: Volunteer Services, Education and Public Services Department B: Art Research Office)

【Internship Period】
1. Internship Dates: From January 14, 2025 (Tuesday) to May 29, 2025 (Thursday).
2. Internship Hours: The internship schedule is from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.
3. For internship hours, please refer to the intern requirements form (Attachment 1). The daily internship hours are set at 8 hours. According to the internship guidelines (Attachment 2), if the total internship hours are less than 200 hours, or if the accumulated leave hours (including personal leave, sick leave, and unexcused absences) exceed 64 hours, the museum will not issue an internship certificate.
4. The full internship dates are from January 14, 2025 (Tuesday) to May 29, 2025 (Thursday). If you anticipate needing to take more than 64 hours of leave or are unable to comply with the internship schedule at the museum, please do not apply.

【Internship Stipend】No salary will be provided during the internship period. Students are responsible for their own transportation, meals, and accommodation expenses.

【Registration Documents】All applicants wishing to participate in the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts internship must have basic computer skills and submit their applications in accordance with the internship guidelines. The application documents are as follows::
(1)One copy of the internship application form.
(2)A formal letter from the school (including the department) addressed to the museum, using the correct official document format, or two letters of recommendation (from any recommenders), one of the two options must be provided.
(3)A personal statement (including reasons for applying for the internship, format is flexible).
(4)Internship proposal, including internship objectives, activities, methods, duration, and other relevant details.
【Application Method】
(1)If students wish to have a formal letter from the university as supporting documentation, they must prepare the application form, personal statement, and internship proposal and submit them to the Career Counseling and Alumni Service Center (R446) by 5:00 PM on October 15, 2024 (Tuesday). Late submissions will not be accepted.
(2)If students choose to submit two letters of recommendation on their own, they must mail or deliver them to the Education and Public Services Department of the museum by October 31, 2024 (postmark as proof). Please indicate on the envelope that it contains internship application materials.
The announcement of the admission results is expected to be posted on the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts official website by November 30, 2024.(www.kmfa.gov.tw)。
【Important Notes】
1. The museum's Art East 2nd Road surface parking lot is a paid parking facility. During the internship period, interns will need to pay for parking their cars here. For motorcycles, parking discounts can be applied for according to regulations.
