[Career Lecture] Oct 31, 1:30 PM – AI expert Dr. Li Qilong on "ChatGPT in Teaching and Education." All students and faculty are welcome!
In a world driven by AI, big data, and automation, it's crucial for everyone to understand the developments in these areas, especially with the rise of ChatGPT and generative AI. Education plays a vital role in cultivating the skills needed for the future. As generative AI advances, developing key competencies that cannot be replaced by AI is a goal for both educators and learners to strive for together!
The lecture will feature Dr. Li Qi-long as the keynote speaker. He is currently the Director of the Generative AI Innovation Institute at the Foundation for Innovative Think Tanks, Vice Chairman of the Diverse Intelligence Education Association, and an Assistant Professor at the Ministry of Education (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology). He also serves as the Director of the Information Office at Taipei Municipal Teachers College and a guiding professor at the Big Data and Life-C Key Competency Laboratory at NTUST. With extensive experience as a speaker for various enterprises and institutions, Dr. Li has delivered hundreds of lectures. His expertise lies in big data, AI, and information education, and he has authored over 60 publications, many of which have topped the bestseller lists on bookselling platforms like Books.com and Kingstone. He also invented the world's first virtual code programming logic board game, "Treasure Hunter: Return to Civilization."
The lecture will cover the following topics: "Technological Development and Mindset in the Era of AI," "The Killer Application ChatGPT in the Age of AI," "Teaching Applications of ChatGPT and Potential Blind Spots," and "Cultivating Key Competencies in the Wave of Generative AI." There will also be a Q&A session for attendees to engage and share with Dr. Li Qi-long.
