1. This program is based on the Ministry of Labor's letter dated February 1, 2024.

2. The program offers 43 summer (July-August) internship opportunities at the Chiayi City Government and affiliated agencies, with a monthly salary of NT$27,470. Online registration is open from April 1 to April 15, accessible through the Chiayi City Government website under "Online Application / Digital Integration Service Platform / Service Inquiry 'Internship'."

3. Eligibility criteria:

   1. Applicants must have resided in Chiayi City for over three months as of April 1, 2024 (i.e., registered before January 1, 2024). Those from low-income households, middle-low income households, or with disability certificates are exempt from the residency requirement (must be registered in Chiayi City at the time of application).
   2. Applicants must meet the qualifications specified by the hiring units and be currently enrolled in domestic universities (1st to 3rd year, second semester), two-year programs (1st to 2nd year, second semester), or five-year junior colleges (4th to 5th year, second semester). Exclusions apply to incoming students, recent graduates, night school students, distance education students, weekend study students, foreign students, graduate students, and those who have previously participated in the summer internship program.
