The Taiwan Securities and Futures Markets Development Foundation is hosting the 11th “College Student Financial Employment Public Program” for the 114th academic year.
1. Financial services are a key industry in Taiwan, offering competitive salaries and strong career prospects. To support the Financial Supervisory Commission’s initiative encouraging social contributions from the financial sector, Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) and related financial, securities, and futures organizations host the “College Student Financial Employment Public Program” (hereafter referred to as the Program), now in its 11th year since the 104th academic year, with proven success.
2. For the 114th academic year (11th edition), the Program will be offered at 8 universities nationwide, each hosting one class of 50–80 financially disadvantaged students. Through free professional courses, students can prepare for financial certifications, enhance employment competitiveness, and gain job-matching opportunities in the financial sector upon completion, helping improve their future prospects and family financial situation.
3. The Program includes 170 hours of courses, comprising 9 hours for certification exams and 14 hours for post-course assessments. Eligible participants are economically disadvantaged college seniors (graduating June 115th academic year), qualifying graduate students, and non-disadvantaged students with disabilities (both undergraduate and graduate students graduating June 115th academic year). Classes are scheduled from September 114 to March 115 at the 8 participating universities.
4. Participants receive a NT$190/hour living allowance (paid monthly), full coverage of registration fees for designated financial certifications, and additional incentive rewards for passing certifications.
5. Schools are requested to assist in promoting the Program via official websites, social media, and app platforms, encourage eligible students to apply, and assign staff to handle application reviews.
