1. To help college students in Taichung City prepare for entering the workforce, the Bureau has planned the “Taichung City Government 2026 Summer Public Sector Part-Time Program for College Youth.”
Through providing summer part-time job opportunities, the program aims to help students experience the workplace, support their family finances, and enhance their competitiveness in future career development.

2. Program details are as follows:

(1) Application Period:

1. General-status students: March 23, 2026 – March 27, 2026

2. Special-status students: March 23, 2026 – April 2, 2026

(2) Eligibility Requirements:

1. Basic Requirements:

   • Must have household registration in Taichung City for more than 4 months.

   • During the application period, applicants must currently be enrolled in a domestic university or college, including:

     • Universities or four-year technical colleges (1st year or above)

     • Two-year technical colleges or junior colleges (1st year students)

     • Five-year junior colleges (4th year students)

   • The following are not eligible: students who have not yet enrolled, graduating students, Open University students, continuing education/open college students, night-school students, continuing education division students, students extending their studies, and graduate students.

2. Special Status Requirements:
   In addition to the basic requirements, special-status students must meet one of the following conditions and provide relevant documentation:

   (1) The applicant is a person with disabilities, from a low-income or lower-middle-income household, or is Indigenous.
   (2) A parent experienced an occupational accident between January 1, 2024 and March 23, 2026 and is currently unemployed.
   (3) Children from special hardship families or families where one parent bears sole responsibility for household finances.
   (4) A parent received unemployment benefits between January 1, 2024 and March 23, 2026 and is currently unemployed.
   (5) Children of domestic violence victims, individuals under rehabilitation/protective supervision, or long-term unemployed persons.

3. To allow more young students to access summer job opportunities, each participant may only be hired once. Anyone who participated in or before 2025 is not eligible to apply again.
