【Canaan Project】Online Live Sessions – 2026 Amendments to the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals

The latest amendments to Taiwan’s Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals officially took effect on January 1, 2026.

To help faculty, staff, project assistants, and international students better understand the latest amendments and their practical implications, Canaan Project will host two online live sessions covering key changes to the law and important matters that international students should be aware of when studying, working, and planning their careers in Taiwan.

🔴 Online Live Sessions for International Students

Session 1: February 4, 2026 (Wednesday), 12:10–1:00 p.m.
Session 2: February 5, 2026 (Thursday), 8:00–9:00 p.m.

The sessions will cover:

  • Key amendments to the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals
  • Employment rights and benefits for international students
  • Updated regulations regarding employment and work permits
  • Changes to permanent residency requirements
  • Retirement benefits and related rights
  • Important considerations for international students planning their careers in Taiwan

The sessions will be conducted in Chinese and are free of charge. Faculty, staff, project assistants, and international students are welcome to participate.
