【Taichung City Government Labor Affairs Bureau】Summer Part-Time Employment Opportunities in Government Agencies for College Students
The Taichung City Government Labor Affairs Bureau is organizing the 2026 Taichung City Government Summer Part-Time Employment Program for College Students to help college students gain early workplace experience, support their families financially, and strengthen their career competitiveness.
I. Application Period
- Students under the general eligibility category: March 23–27, 2026
- Students under designated eligibility categories: March 23–April 2, 2026
II. Eligibility
1. Basic Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have been registered as residents of Taichung City for at least four months.
- Be currently enrolled in a university or college in Taiwan during the application period.
- Meet the applicable year-level requirements for universities, four-year technical colleges, two-year technical colleges, two-year junior colleges, or five-year junior colleges.
The program is not open to students who have not yet enrolled, graduating students, students of open universities or extension programs, night-school students, students in continuing education programs, students extending their graduation period, or graduate students.
2. Designated Eligibility Categories
In addition to meeting the basic eligibility requirements, applicants under designated categories must meet at least one of the following conditions and provide relevant supporting documents:
- Be a person with a disability, from a low-income or lower-middle-income household, or an Indigenous person.
- Have a parent who suffered an occupational accident between January 1, 2024 and March 23, 2026 and is currently unemployed.
- Be a child from a family facing exceptional circumstances or a child of a person who is the sole provider for the household.
- Have a parent who received unemployment benefits between January 1, 2024 and March 23, 2026 and is currently unemployed.
- Be a child of a victim of domestic violence, a person under post-release protective supervision, or a long-term unemployed person.
3. Participation Restriction
To provide opportunities to more young people, each participant may be employed under the program only once. Students who participated in the program in 2025 or earlier are not eligible to apply again.
