I. Examination Guidelines

The 2026 National Technical Skills Certification Examination Guidelines are available on the following websites. Applicants are advised to download and review the guidelines:

Sales Period: April 17–May 5, 2026

Purchase Locations:

  • FamilyMart convenience stores
    Please note: white booklets are for the National Technical Skills Certification; brown booklets are for the Immediate Testing and Evaluation system.
  • Skills Evaluation Center service counters
  • Designated sales locations in each city and county
  • Mail-in application receiving centers

III. Application Methods

Applications are available through two channels:

  • Online Application: A new system that does not require paper forms; submission is completed online. Online application is recommended.
  • Mail-in Paper Application

IV. Application Period

April 24–May 5, 2026

The following applicants must apply using the paper application method:

  • Applicants applying for subsidies for designated groups
  • Applicants exempt from the written examination
  • Group applicants
  • Mainland Chinese students studying or visiting family in Taiwan
  • Applicants for welding-related categories, including manual arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and semi-automatic welding

V. Important Information for Paper Applications

Applicants must:

  • Complete payment and include the original payment receipt
  • Mail the application before the deadline; the postmark date will be used
  • Applications may be mailed through post offices or convenience stores

VI. Required Eligibility Documents

Applicants who took the examination for the same occupational category and level between 2023 and 2026 and whose eligibility has not changed may be exempt from submitting supporting documents.

For paper applications, applicants must submit:

  • A photocopy of their written or practical examination score report
