【Taoyuan City Government Department of Youth Affairs】“YOUNG Taoyuan – Your Next Step: Job-Seeking Support in Taoyuan” Youth Career Development Resources

The Department of Youth Affairs, Taoyuan City Government is promoting the “YOUNG Taoyuan – Your Next Step: Job-Seeking Support in Taoyuan” initiative and welcomes young people interested in career development and employment opportunities to participate.

  1. To facilitate effective matching between talented young people and local businesses and to cultivate skills aligned with current industry trends, the Department of Youth Affairs is implementing the above-mentioned initiative. More than 100 local companies are participating, offering over 500 job openings. The initiative also integrates various career development resources to enhance young people's competitiveness in the workplace and help them successfully transition into the job market.
  2. The initiative includes the following services:

    (1) Employment Policy Information:
    Provides information on diverse career development and employment assistance policies and resources.

    (2) Job Matching:
    Young people can apply for full-time and part-time positions through the initiative's website. They can also apply for startup internship positions in Taipei, New Taipei City, and Taoyuan. Participants who complete 30 days of practical training will receive a practical training certificate, allowing them to accumulate workplace experience, develop practical skills, and enhance their employability.

    (3) Internship and Employment Information for Universities and Colleges:
    Provides information on career resources from 13 universities and colleges in Taoyuan, including career counseling, internship opportunities, and employment activities, helping young people access diverse career support services.

    (4) Career Support:
    Provides services including resume reviews, vocational aptitude assessments, work personality assessments, interview experience sharing, and promotion of emerging industries. These services help young people stay connected with future workplace trends, enhance their competitiveness, and explore their career development potential.

    (5) Workplace Skills Courses:
    Offers the free “AI Creativity and Office Applications” course, focusing on practical applications of artificial intelligence. Interested participants may register online through the “Job-Seeking Support in Taoyuan” section of the initiative's official website. Applicants will undergo a qualification review after registration and will be notified of subsequent course information by the organizers.

  3. To help young people learn more about the initiative, universities and colleges are encouraged to promote it through the following channels:

    (1) Official websites, news announcements, or bulletin boards
    (2) Facebook fan pages or groups
    (3) Instagram posts or Stories
    (4) LINE communities, groups, or official accounts

  4. A campus promotional toolkit, sample promotional copy, and promotional graphic are provided for reference. An A1 promotional poster will also be prioritized for delivery to universities and colleges in northern Taiwan. Schools are kindly requested to display the poster on campus bulletin boards to help promote the initiative.
