This matter is handled in accordance with the Executive Yuan’s letter dated March 10, 2025 (Ref. No. 1145003877A).

The revised Guidelines for Technical and Vocational Education Policies were amended in accordance with Article 4 of the Technical and Vocational Education Act, which provides that the guidelines shall be comprehensively reviewed and promulgated at least once every two years to develop talent that meets national economic and industrial development needs. The revisions were approved by the Technical and Vocational Education Review Committee convened by the Executive Yuan.

The Ministry’s Department of Compulsory Education and Preschool Education and local governments are requested to forward the revised guidelines to senior high schools and schools below that level under their jurisdiction. This will help schools understand Taiwan’s future vision, goals, and development priorities for technical and vocational education, respond to future social and industrial needs, and enable technical and vocational education to continuously strengthen its advantages and competitiveness in response to changing social and industrial conditions, international trends, and challenges.
