📌 114 Academic Year Dream-Building Overseas Internship/New Southbound Program Campus Selection. Applications accepted until 2/20 (Thu) 17:00.
1. Basis: Processed according to the Ministry of Education's guidelines for subsidizing domestic colleges and universities in sending students abroad for study or overseas professional internships (hereinafter referred to as "the guidelines").
2. Purpose:
(1) Dream-Building Overseas Internship: Utilizing international cooperation channels to send students for workplace internships at enterprises or institutions in non-New Southbound countries (excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau). The university arranges internship institutions and plans internship fields to enhance practical training, integrate learning with practice, and strengthen career guidance.
(2) New Southbound Dream-Building Overseas Internship: Sending students to enterprises or institutions in New Southbound countries with development potential for workplace internships. This aims to help students better understand the cultural lifestyles and backgrounds of these countries, fostering deeper relationships and future cooperation.
3. Eligibility:
(1) Project Host: Must be a full-time faculty member of the university, with the option to appoint a co-host, who must be a full-time or part-time faculty member of the university.
(2) Selected Students:
1. Must be a Republic of China (Taiwan) national with household registration in Taiwan and enrolled at the university for at least one semester. Domestic and overseas in-service program students are not eligible.
2. Must meet the university’s professional and language proficiency requirements.
3. Students from other universities may be selected, but they must provide a letter of consent from their home university allowing them to participate in this program during their studies.
4. Must retain student status during the internship. Suspension or withdrawal is not allowed. Upon completion, students must report back to the university. Violation of these terms will result in reimbursement of received subsidies per administrative contract regulations.
5. Each applicant is eligible for funding only once per education level.
4. Application Process:
(1) Submission Deadline: From now until February 20, 2025 (Thursday) at 5:00 PM.
(2) Interested project hosts within the university must complete the proposal in the required format and submit the Word file to the Career Counseling and Alumni Service Center before the deadline. The proposal must be approved by the department/institute meeting before processing.
