Feng Chia University Geographic Information System Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the GIS Center) and its affiliated enterprises are now accepting internship applications from students of all universities. The application period starts from today and ends at 12:00 PM, April 30th, 2025. Kindly assist in posting this announcement at your institution. Please take note.

Description:

1. To nurture future talent in the field of spatial information and integrate classroom theory with practical applications, the GIS Center and its affiliated enterprises are seeking 8 interns. The internship period is from June 23rd, 2025, to August 15th, 2025 (with no internships from July 19th to August 3rd). The total internship hours will be 240 hours, or extended in accordance with each university's internship regulations.

2. The application rules and procedures are as follows:

   1. Target Applicants: Students from spatial information, information technology, and related departments (3rd-year undergraduates to 2nd-year master's students).

   2. Please fill out the attached internship student resume form in detail and include a photo. The content should be limited to 5 pages. Submit the form via email to Miss Marian Yen, Human Resources Manager of the GIS Center, at marianyen@gis.tw before the deadline. The subject of the email should be: [I want to apply for the 2025 Summer Internship].

   3. The internship salary will be calculated based on the basic wage hourly rate, and labor insurance will be provided.

   4. Interview Process:

      • Stage 1: Video interview. After receiving the notification, applicants must submit a 5-minute self-introduction video (including personal introduction, work and club experience, internship plan and goals, and self-expectations) by May 7th, 2025.

      • If the video passes the initial review, further details about the Stage 2 in-person interview (time and location) will be notified separately.
