Ministry of Labor – Northern Branch 2026 Second Semester Workplace Visit Program for Universities (One-Day Visits Only) - Internal Application Deadline: 12:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2026

Faculty members who wish to apply are kindly reminded to submit their applications before the University's internal deadline.

 

Program Information

1. Internal Application Period
From now until 12:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2026.

2. Program Period
September 1 – December 11, 2026

3. Eligible Applicants
All colleges, departments, graduate institutes, and administrative units of National Quemoy University.

4. Application Procedure

(1) Please refer to the attached Company List and Sample Workplace Visit Itinerary, complete the 2026 Workplace Visit Application Form, and submit the Word file to the Employment Counseling and Alumni Services Center via email at easc@nqu.edu.tw before the application deadline.

(2) Important Update (June 17, 2026):
According to the Ministry of Labor's Northern Branch, all two-day/one-night workplace visit quotas have been fully allocated. Therefore, only one-day workplace visit proposals will be accepted for the second half of 2026. All other application requirements and procedures remain unchanged. Faculty members are kindly requested to adjust their visit plans accordingly.

Application Results

The Ministry of Labor will review all applications. Once the review is completed, the Employment Counseling and Alumni Services Center will notify all applying departments and units of the results.

Selection Priorities

Phase 1

  • Domestic students
  • Graduating students
  • Programs involving both graduating and next-year graduating students
  • Next-year graduating students
  • University-wide activities open to students of all academic years

Phase 2

  • Relevance between the academic discipline and the company being visited
  • Institutions/departments with a lower approval rate under the University Workplace Visit Program
  • Institutions/departments with a lower approval rate under the University Employment Service Subsidy Program

Important Notes

  • A minimum of 30 participating students is required.
  • The program subsidizes:
    • Meal expenses (NT$120 per meal per student)
    • Domestic travel accident insurance
    • Chartered bus transportation
  • The Career Center will arrange the accident insurance and transportation.
  • Faculty members are requested to assist with:
    • Collecting students' insurance information
    • Reserving assembly classrooms
    • Applying for campus bus parking/traffic arrangements
    • Ordering lunch boxes
  • Companies not included in the recommended company list may also be proposed. If available, please provide the company's contact information together with the application.
