NQU Interns Earn Recognition as Ardentec Expands Talent Incentive Program

National Quemoy University (NQU) has maintained a close internship partnership with Ardentec Corporation, one of Taiwan's leading semiconductor testing companies. Over the past three years, nearly 60 senior students have completed internships at the company. In recognition of NQU students' outstanding performance during their internships and after joining the company as full-time employees, Ardentec has expanded its talent recruitment program by introducing three incentive schemes to attract more NQU students to the semiconductor industry.

At a recent information session held at the Lu Ching-An Lecture Hall on the NQU campus, Ardentec introduced its Internship Retention Incentive, Graduate Scholarship, and Pre-Master Scholarship programs. These initiatives are designed to encourage students to pursue internships, continue their graduate studies, and build long-term careers with the company.

According to Lu Li-Hsin, Director of the Employment Counseling and Alumni Service Center, Ardentec provides a comprehensive internship program that includes one-on-one mentorship, professional and competency-based training, competitive internship allowances, and attractive employee benefits. Students from the Departments of Industrial Engineering and Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, and Business Administration have actively participated in the internship program, with many choosing to remain at the company after graduation.

Chou Ko-Heng, Associate Vice President of Sustainability and Human Resources at Ardentec, praised the performance of NQU interns, noting that many department managers specifically request NQU students for internship positions. To encourage more talented students to join the company, Ardentec has introduced the three incentive programs, offering generous financial support for internship retention, graduate studies, and integrated bachelor's–master's students pursuing semiconductor-related research before beginning their careers at the company.

The internship information session attracted nearly 100 students from related departments. Following the presentation, many students actively interacted with Ardentec representatives to learn more about internship opportunities and career development in the semiconductor industry, demonstrating strong interest in gaining practical experience before graduation and preparing for future employment.
