1. Taiwan has implemented overseas Chinese student policies for more than 70 years, cultivating over 160,000 overseas Chinese student alumni who have become an important global force supporting Taiwan. To achieve the national policy goals of attracting, cultivating, and retaining talent, the Council continues to expand enrollment and strengthen student support. It also actively assists overseas Chinese graduates in staying and working in Taiwan, helping them develop their talents while assisting Taiwanese companies in finding suitable overseas Chinese and international student talent, enhancing competitiveness and promoting industrial development for mutual benefit.

2. The Council has commissioned Crossbond International Brand Consultants Co., Ltd. to organize three sessions of the “2026 Employment Briefing for Enterprises Hiring Overseas Chinese Students” in the Northern, Central, and Southern regions in September 2026. Relevant government agencies, including the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, and National Immigration Agency, as well as companies experienced in hiring overseas Chinese students, will introduce employment regulations and share experiences. Job matching activities will also be held after the briefing. Overseas Chinese students are encouraged to register and participate. Event information is as follows:
